BMW GS Safari – Live on 7mate

BMW Motorrad Australia launches five-part series, Adventure Ride – BMW GS Safari, on 7mate this Saturday, 11 March 2017 at 9:30am.

BMW Safari celebrated its 22nd year in 2016 with participants from all over Australia gathering in South East Queensland for the landmark event. The unexpected challenges, unbeatable locations and two-wheeled adventure of a lifetime is what has shaped the new series.

Queensland’s stunning scenery sets the backdrop of the journey as the riders and BMW Safari support team demonstrate the abilities of the iconic BMW GS models. The varied and challenging terrain tested bike and rider with many gaining valuable experience and confidence along the way.

BMW Motorrad Australia general manager, Andreas Lundgren, is excited to share this experience with an Australian audience on 7mate.

“To be able to showcase the BMW GS Safari and BMW GS motorcycles to a wide audience on free-to-air TV is very exciting,” said Lundgren.

“Riders who have been on previous BMW GS Safaris will appreciate the series as will those viewers looking for adventure-style entertainment.

“The high quality filming of this series will make it an Australian motorcycling landmark event,” he said.
