1400 Motorcycles to Ride into the Gong for Harley-Davidson Thunder Run

WHAT:
• Harley-Davidson Australia announces the highly anticipated Thunder Run
• Caroline Buchanan, Harley-Davidson Ambassador and The Throttle Dolls will lead
the mass participation ride of over 1400 plus motorcyclists in convoy
• The 60km route will ride through Wollongong on Sunday morning (30th October), past
the iconic lighthouse and stunning surrounds
• The ride will raise money for Camp Quality, Australia’s most trusted Children’s
Charity. Camp Quality’s purpose is to create a better life for every child living with
cancer
• Thousands of riders have registered from across Australia and spectators are
expected to line the streets in support
• The Thunder Run is part of Harley Days, Australia’s biggest celebration of the world’s
favourite motorcycle brand, Harley-Davidson.

WHEN & WHERE:
• Sunday, 30th October, 9:30am at Flagstaff Hill, Wollongong for photo/vision opportunities
• The ride will commence at 10am

PHOTO OPPORTUNITIES:
• Caroline Buchanan, The Throttle Dolls and over 1400 motorcyclist riders
• Group photo will be organised to take place at Flagstaff Hill, at 9:30am
• Leaving Flagstaff at 10am, motorcyclists will ride past the iconic Lighthouse and
Wollongong’s stunning surroundings to end at Stuart Park.
