Description: Over Two Decades in the Making TPR Powersports.

Born into a motoring / motorsport family I was destined to be on wheels and in the workshop, always hands-on with my Father teaching me many things from an early age. I maintained, repaired, rebuilt, even built my own gear when the budget didn’t stretch to buy it. I got my first motorcycle at age 4 and the seed for what has become a life long passion was sewn. I raced bikes in my teens and 20s and began working in a motorcycle dealership straight after my schooling. I finished year 12 and went straight to TAFE to study Automotive Engineering full time for six months, finished the course on the Friday and drove through the night to race a State MX Title round, drove home Sunday evening and started my apprenticeship on the Monday morning. That began 23 straight years working in Motorcycle and Personal Watercraft Dealerships, living the same passion as my customers on Street Bikes, Dirt Bikes and Jetskis.

I am a Qualified Light Engine Mechanic (Motorcycle / Marine / Power Equipment) and have over two decades of experience in the Motorcycle / Powersports Industry.

I am a Certified Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki, Kawasaki, CanAm and Seadoo Technician, in addition to that have worked in dealerships for Husqvarna, Sherco, Polaris, Mv Agusta, Laverda, Ural, Cagiva, GasGas, TM, Alfer, Vor and Motovert, and have worked on all brands of Japanese, European and American motorcycles and watercraft, including KTM, BMW, Harley and Ducati.

After many years working in other peoples bike shops as a Mechanic, Service Manager and Parts Interpreter, I’ve started my own business. Founder, Owner, Manager, Mechanic it’s me, the bloke who answers the phone and books the job, is the bloke who quotes the job, sources the parts and completes the work, you won’t be handballed from a receptionist to a service advisor, to the service manager and finally on to the mechanic who you may never get to speak to. My pride in my work and attention to detail are your guarantee and I’ll be there to answer any questions from start to finish.

My workshop is well equipped to carry out most work in house, meaning I can control the quality of each step and deliver jobs back faster, I am also happy to take on many jobs outside the usual scope of a general mechanical workshop. I want TPR Powersports to be your one-stop destination, bring your Jetski in for a service and if the jet-pump or supercharger need rebuilding, or if the trailer has cracked and the lights don’t work, no problem, your bike has blown fork seals or shock and needs linkage, head-stem or wheel bearings replaced, no problem, your ATV needs ball-joints, new drive-shafts, a carby overhaul or that broken tow hitch welded up, no problem, we’ll handle the lot!

While I don’t have a dealership, shiny showroom or huge range of parts and accessories, I also don’t have their over-heads that you pay for in the products and labour rate. I do however keep a comprehensive range of service parts and fluids and common consumable parts, and what I don’t have I can source for you.
