Midland Road & Trail do not employ commissioned staff and you will be dealing directly with the owner.

Colin Payne is the director and the person of first contact when you visit our showroom. Colin was until 2002 a director in the family engineering business and then motorcycle business that operated from the same location in Bellevue.

After finishing high school in 1978, Colin joined his grandfather and father to become an apprentice fitter and turner and in 1982 became a partner in the business manufacturing parts and machines for local brick and tile companies along with mining and agriculture industries.

In 2003 Colin retired from engineering to begin his next venture and in the following year, MRT began! Initially selling used Japanese Motor Cross and Trail bikes, it then added Chinese bikes and ATV’s to the mix, and then in 2009 Boss Hoss V8 Cycles as well. 
During the Covid pandemic years, Colin expanded the range of vehicle sold to include Mopeds and Scooters, to be at one time, the largest Scootarelli dealer in Australia.

While on a trip to Vegas in 2008 Colin experienced a Boss Hoss for the first time up close and knew this product would do well in Western Australia.
On returning to Perth, he made contact with Pacific Boss Hoss, the Australian importer and soon became the first and only authorized BH Dealer in WA!

Colin has now set the company focus to be on Off Road tyres and with an ever-increasing range of tyres to choose from Midland Road Trail is certain to have the product that best suits your vehicle.
