Some 2023 BMW S1000RR buyers will have to wait a little longer to get their hands on their new superbike, as the German company have confirmed an upgrade to the brake lever pin.
In a statement BMW said: “As part of a technical campaign, BMW Motorrad is equipping a small number of S1000RR motorcycles that have milled (M) levers with a new brake lever pin.”
They added: “New S1000RRs in stock will have the new part fitted during the coming weeks, before being delivered to customers.”
The bike was reviewed by MCN chief test rider Michael Neeves back in December, 2022 who said of the 2023 model: “its level is way beyond most of us could ever hope to exploit and to even begin to use its electrical wizardry to go fast will take some serious talent”.
