However, although traditional in appearance, at the heart of the Classic 350 sits a modern aluminium 346 cc, single cylinder, 4 stroke, twin-spark engine with electric start which delivers 19.8hp at 5250 rpm and 28Nm of torque at 4000rpm. The smooth power delivery is helped by a five speed constant mesh transmission with wet multi plate clutch. The comfortable ride is managed by 35mm front telescopic forks with 130mm of travel and rear twin gas charged shock absorbers with 5-step adjustable pre-load. Braking is taken care of with a front 280mm disc, 2-piston caliper / rear drum combination. With a suggested ride-away price of just $6490, the value is truly exceptional.
