Back in (at a guess) 1971, I missed out on what looked like the deal of a lifetime: a brand new motorcycle at a dollar per cc. Six hundred and fifty bucks for a Cossack, a rebadged USSR-made Dnepr. By the time I caught on to the deal, the price had gone up and I paid nearly $800. That turned out to be a ripoff.
