NEWS MOTORCYCLE SALES FALLING

This entry is part 17 of 17 in the series Australian Motorcyclist Issue #125

Royal Enfield’s 650 range is contributing to the growth of the brand in Australia.

The Federal Chamber of Automotive Industries (FCAI) has released its mid-year sales audit, showing that over the first 6 months of 2024, bike sales were down 5.6% compared to the same period in 2023. This is on the back of a similar fall in 2023 over the previous year.

The figures reveal a total of around 42,500 machines were sold during the period. That’s more than 10,000 less sales than the same period in 2021.
