Once just a small fish in a big pond (part of a much broader Australian Footwear company), Johnny Reb soon raced ahead & became an iconic label in the Aussie motorcycle fraternity. A brand that encapsulates the true Australian lifestyle and has grown and developed over the years to stand and ride on its own.

Fast Forward to 2016

Johnny Reb was taken over by two mates from Melbourne, Australia in 2016. Now owned & operated from their Mount Waverley Office (Australia). Both only knee high to a grasshopper when the brand was first created, it was important for them to carry on the brands traditional craftsmanship & Aussie spirit.

Just a small leather footwear brand at the time, with deep roots in the Aussie riding community, the pair kept production going with the same manufacturers that had been making their iconic ‘leather harness’ boots for years (and still are!).

Over the next few years, the Johnny Reb range widely expanded into leatherwear, performance clothing, protective clothing, casual wear & riding accessories. With the brand still priding itself on the same values, over 35 years later. Making high quality, hardwearing products that are built to stand the test of time.

Today in 2022, the range continues to grow. Stocked in over 150 stores & dealerships across the country and proud to still be such an iconic staple in the Aussie motorcycle community, over 35 years later.
