Gas Gas appoints new Australian distributor

With the recent announcement of the all new Gas Gas MY2018 range, Gas Gas is also pleased to announce the fast growing Urban Moto Imports, as the new Australian distributor for the Gas Gas Enduro range.

The recent acquisition of the Gas Gas brand as part of the Spanish-owned Torrot Group has further strengthened the future of this iconic brand with a significant investment across all levels of manufacturing and product development. With a focus on expansion into new markets, along with the development of future markets such as Australia, the new appointment of Urban Moto Imports underpins the company’s commitment to bring new levels of customer engagement and support.

Urban Moto Imports holds the reputation and accolade of being the biggest distributor for a number of their motorcycle brands. Using a proprietary B2B system, matched with strong after sales and marketing, the company is set to significantly grow Gas Gas, delivering a competitive and exciting experience for customers and the market.

New MY2018 range
This year Gas Gas will launch the new 2018 Phoenix range in Australia which will set the benchmark for new developments out of the Spanish factory. With a brand new design and contributions from suppliers including Kayaba and FMF and extensive development carried out by the Gas Gas Enduro Championship team, the new Gas Gas Phoenix range is a total renewal of the brand in Enduro.
The EC 250, EC 300, XC 250 and XC 300, boast new frame, engine, suspension, geometry and an endless list of new parts. Hand built out of the Spanish factory in Salt, the new EC/XC demonstrates the total commitment to providing the greatest reliability, top specs, versatility and off-road performance motorcycle in the Enduro market.

Gas Gas under the directive of Torrot Group are now set to bring new models alongside the Phoenix range, to further compliment the Enduro segment and bring with it new developments in engine, chassis, suspension and electronics.

Whilst the new 2018 Phoenix range will steal the hearts of off-road enthusiasts, Gas Gas Australia will also be launching the junior electric E10 enduro model which will delight parents with its innovative remote motorcycle control app.

Gas Gas will continue to support the existing Gas Gas dealership network under the new distributor Urban Moto Imports, with new motorcycles, parts and accessories. The Gas Gas network will be expanded further to meet the demand of customers and regions previously without representation. The launch of the 2018 range will take place in early August with immediate delivery of new motorcycles to dealerships.
