roads has been tested several times in several countries, and the one consistent conclusion in every case has been that it is not fit for human lungs. Indian helmet manufacturer Shellios has listed the main offenders: Ground level or “bad” ozone is not emitted directly into the air, but is created by chemical reactions between oxides of nitrogen (NOx) and volatile organic compounds (VOC) in the presence of sunlight.
